I know the title sounds weird. When I think about it I feel it weird too but a few days ago let's say nothing was going my way. Had a terrible day with all sort of problems here and there. All I wanted was to reach home and just fall to my bed. By the time I reached home I got really hungry. I think I reached at around 6:30 pm, but turns out my parents had to go somewhere. Then I thought my day is already bad so to at least mark a good end to my day I thought about cooking something myself. Checked the fridge and saw mushrooms. I thought why not make some piro amilo mushroom sadheko. I took it out and was about to take other ingredients, I saw there were no onions. I was actually so done thinking just when I thought I could just have one good thing at the end of the day, that was also not going good. I'm literally finding it so funny thinking about it now but at that moment I was like I hate everything about life.

As I remembered my parents weren't home, I called them and told them to bring onions on the way and what a perfect timing it was cuz they said they were actually buying vegetables. I waited and they arrived shortly after. As they were unloading the vegetables, I was frying the mushrooms so, I didn't really see what they brought and what not. When the time came to cut the onions I went to look for it but I didn't find it. I was on the verge of breaking down then. I asked mom if they forgot to bring maybe cuz they were buying other vegetables as well. She said she does remember that they did buy onions. I searched everywhere and still nothing. Then we thought maybe my parents left it at the shop after buying. I mean that was the only possibility.

So, as I was about to just make those mushrooms however I pleased cuz the day was bad and overwhelming already, I was like alright then there's no tasty mushroom in my fate today. As I was about to take the bowl I had added the fried mushrooms to, I literally see a bag full of onions beside the mushroom. ANDD, please I swear I don't do this often but I actually cried seeing those onions. This is so hilarious right now but omg I seriously felt it was something to celebrate about that time. Because I had created such a fuss about not having onions, I quickly wiped my eyes to not make it show I was having a breakdown over some onions, I embarrassingly took the bag and showed it to my parents. My mom's face was like "I told you we brought it,"

Turns out while I was frying the mushrooms my dad kept it beside the bowl I was adding the mushrooms to so that it'll be just beside me by the time I need it. But I was in such a heat of the moment I didn't see it at all. And when I asked where were you when I was searching all over for the onions, he said he was on a call and had no idea what was going on. So, yeah we just laughed it out, I got to eat the way I wanted to and somehow I ended the night on a good note.

Soo, this my friends, is how onions made me feel the happiest in such a sh!tty day. I definitely learned that sometimes happy endings can happen with unexpected things. It doesn't need to be something really good or a big thing to be happy. Happiness is always around you, it just needs a perfect moment to be found.
